One of the most significant changes is the elimination of the jury vote in the contest's two semifinals. In previous years, a jury of music experts in each participating country cast 50% of the votes in the semifinals, with the remaining 50% coming from public televoting. Under the new system, public televoting will determine the qualifying countries in the semifinals.
Public Televoting in Both Semifinals and Final
Public televoting will now be the sole method of determining the outcome in both the semifinals and the grand final. This change aims to increase the influence of the general public in the contest and make the results more reflective of the popular vote.
